Refugee Awareness Orange Ribbon Campaign

CFN would like you to join us in honouring the courage, strength, and determination of refugee women, men and children in Calgary. June 20th is observed as World Refugee Day to honour the courage, strength and determination of all those who are forced to flee their homeland under threat of persecution, conflict and violence. Building on this, CFN will be launching our 2nd annual citywide Refugee Awareness Campaign on June 1, 2017 to engage the broader community in showing your support for our new Calgarians.

The ribbons will be available for purchase by donation at various businesses and organizations across the city, with proceeds from the orange ribbons going towards CFNs programs and community services that serve and support over 10,000 newcomers to Calgary each year - work we simply could not do without the support of the community.

If you would like to wear an orange ribbon for the month of June, display a box in your office to encourage others to participate or sponsor our campaign visit our website or give us a call at 403-537-3394. Stay tuned for more coming soon!
