CFN Hosts Calgary Inter Agency Immigrant Services Network

Yesterday saw the Calgary Inter Agency Immigrant Services Network meet at CFN. In existence since 1996, the Network is a resource and information sharing body, which meets 3 times a year to enhance service delivery to the Calgary immigrant community.

As the host agency, CFN offered a presentation, along with information on our mandate, programs and services. Guests were given a tour of CFN's one of kind 43,000 square foot facility, while network agencies offered updates of their own, followed by a roundtable discussion and Q&A session.

Representatives from the City of Calgary, OMNI Alberta, Immigrant Services Calgary, The Immigrant Access Fund, Jewish Family Services, the Alberta Association of Immigrant Serving Agencies, Alberta Health Services, Directions for Immigrants, Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, the Temporary Foreign Workers Advisory Office, CLICK Coaching and Counselling, Connexion and others were in attendance.
